Learn More About Our Story

It all began in 2019, when Britney Kujawa—drawn by her love for her sister’s floral design work—started experimenting with dyeing silk from her seasonal garden. What makes Native Ribbon Co. distinct is our commitment to creating living color: each ribbon is dyed using plants harvested from nature—bearded irises, goldenrod, and others—transforming threads into natural, evolving hues.
Because we work in small, plant‑dyed batches, every ribbon tells a story. You’ll notice slight variations in tone and texture—each tie is unique, just like the blossoms it complements. Our approach is rooted in sustainability, ethical sourcing, and deep respect for the environment.
Thank you for exploring with us, for embracing an intentional, nature‑connected aesthetic. We hope our ribbons bring warmth, depth, and a whisper of wilderness to your floral visions.
