Frequently Asked Questions

What is your fulfillment policy?

We process and ship all orders within 1–3 business days via USPS. If you need your ribbon sooner, expedited shipping options are available at checkout. Should you wish to return an unused ribbon, please contact us within 15 days of purchase for a refund of the ribbon purchase price, excluding shipping. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.

What if the color I need is sold out?

Our ribbons are hand-dyed in small batches using natural plant dyes. If the color you desire is out of stock, please reach out to us. We may be able to create a new batch or suggest a similar shade.

How much ribbon do I need for my invitation suites?

For a standard 5x7 inch invitation, approximately 21 inches of ribbon is needed to tie a small bow. One of our typical 3-yard rolls will cover about five invitations.

How much ribbon do I need for a bouquet?

This depends on personal preference, but generally, a 3-yard roll is ideal for a bridal bouquet. For longer tails, consider using two rolls layered and staggered. For bridesmaid bouquets, 1.5 yards per bouquet is typically sufficient.

What ribbon width is best for boutonnieres?

The 1/2 inch width is the most popular choice for boutonnieres, offering a delicate and refined appearance.

What's the difference between silk twine and 1/2 inch ribbon?

Silk twine is slightly less than 1/2 inch wide and is left unpressed, which can result in more fraying. In contrast, the 1/2 inch ribbon is pressed before packaging, providing a smoother and more polished finish.

What is the best way to iron my ribbons?

While we press and roll the ribbons prior to shipping, you may need to press them again. Use a hair product-free straightener or an iron on a low setting for silk (no hotter than 300°F) and a higher setting (around 400°F) for cotton.
